As appliance repair engineers go they don’t come much more local than Graham Elvidge, who fixes broken appliances for customers all over Barnsley, backed and supported by the powerful Pacifica brand network.
Brought up in the village of Brierley, Graham became City & Guilds qualified as a domestic appliance engineer and moved to Athersley South with his wife, where the family have lived ever since.
Now a proud father of two grown up children and a devoted grandfather, Graham enjoys a very active life and is particularly pleased to be able to help people with their broken home appliances.
When Graham is not busy making sure ailing appliances aren’t consigned to what he calls “the scrap heap” – saving his customers from having to spend out on new ones – he can be found supporting Barnsley FC, walking the Pennine Trail or local canal paths, or out on an adventure with his grandchildren.
He’s a keen rugby union and cricket fan too, so there’s never a dull moment for this energetic engineer, or a lack of things to chat about while he works on your home appliances.
As for his skills – there’s no doubting that his passion and expertise set him apart in his field. No matter what the problem is he’ll find a solution, no matter what make or model of broken appliance he’s dealing with.

Although Pacifica Barnsley covers a large area we are committed to delivering a high standard of service with a personal touch.
In fact, we’ve got to know many of our repeat customers – and being local we’re always pleased to run into our customers when we’re out and about.
We believe that flexibility and good customer communication are key to running an appliance repair business in Barnsley (or anywhere else for that matter), along with being respectful of your property, tidy and efficient as we go about our work, and of course turning up promptly.
